5/3/2023 0 Comments Aria pro ii ta 50 vs![]() ![]() I don't know if the slightly above average humbucker 'noise' is typical, but if that is acceptable this is a fine guitar and if you play the blues, I doubt if it could be bettered in this price range. The beauty of the TA-50 is that it's sound is tonally full and has a very emotional quality. ![]() For the Blues I don't think you could find a better guitar at this price tag. 1985 Aria Pro II Guitars Full Line Catalog. Beautiful sound, but I must tell the truth, I don't know if I am lucky, but this TA-50 is better. It's a big guitar, way bigger and heavier than my old sunburst Aria Pro II TA-40. The guitar is perfect, finish has not a flaw to be seen. It has a kind of authority and punches way, way above it's weight. With a maple set-neck design TA-CLASSIC ensures an excellent tonal transfer between the neck and body and the tone is well boosted by a pair of Aria Pro II. ![]() In 1987, production of many lower end models moved to in Korea, due to the closure of Matsumoku and rising costs of production in Japan.Diamond was a cheaper sub-brand of Aria, which moved production entirely to Samick around the same time. The humbuckers are relatively noisy, but the sound is remarkable for such a cheap guitar. The brand name was changed to 'Aria Pro II' in 1975. ![]() I bought a wine red Aria TA-50 nine months ago. Even within the same model there is variability. Guitars on this fairly cheap level depend on the consistency of production. ![]()
